What, already? The Federal Reserve is coming out with new money, possibly as soon as next year, according to this press release. Colored money would definitely look better than the drab green money we have now. I wonder if I can beta-test the money for them, they could send me a truck full, and I'll spend it to see how it works...

My CD Duplicator, a MediaFORM CD-3701, broke this morning. The little robotic arm will no longer pick up CDs properly, and I have 140 discs I need burned by the end of the day. Fortunately, the History department has an identical machine, so I loaded a stack up on theirs, and am stuck at my desk swapping CDs in and out of my 24X drive as well, so that hopefully I can get all of these done by 5:00. But I'm sure that it's going to cost and arm and a leg to get my duplicator fixed...

Update: I've got to hand it to MediaFORM, they stand behind their products. They concluded that the "picker arm" is most likely bad, and even though the system is a month out of warranty, they agreed to fix it for free, saying that the arm simply shouldn't go bad that soon. We've got to pay the cost of shipping the duplicator back to them, but that's more than fair.
