I spent the weekend at Greater Crater Days, the local celebration in Holly's home town, Manson, Iowa. We went to her 10 year high school reunion, which she had to plan, since she was class president. At least I knew a few people there, so I wasn't totally bored.

I tried taking a few pictures of the fireworks with my digital camera, and realized that I really need a Tripod before I try that again. Fortunately for me, I found a deal on one today for only $13.32 with free shipping. It's hard to hold the camera still long enough to expose the film and capture the fireworks. Hopefully my tripod will arrive tomorrow, as things from Buy.com typically come very quickly, and I can try to take some better pictures of fireworks on the 4th of July.

Hopefully it's cool enough tonight that I can mow our lawn, it's been unbearably hot the last few days, and I'm not looking to get heat stroke for the sake of my lawn. Of course, I could get up early in the morning and mow it, but I'm not that ambitious.
