I removed the commenting system that I use, because it's temporarily off-line in order for the company to upgrade it. But, it was taking several minutes to load this page, because their servers are down. Now that it's gone, things are speedy once more.

My new assistant, Kristin Brunt, has started working for me today. I had about 20 people apply for the job, which was far more than I was expecting. I only had two people to choose from last year. Hopefully I'll have her turned into a web page guru soon, and she'll want her own weblog.

She's already learned the first rule of Tech Support: We don't talk about Tech Support. Oh, wait, that's the first rule of Fight Club. The first rule of Tech Support (at least in the summer) is don't wear blue jeans when you're going to be hauling computers around in the heat.

Oh, and she's already annoyed with me for snapping this picture of her, and putting it on the web. :)
