Death of a TiVo
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's what I screamed last night when I realized that my TiVo got zapped by lightning this weekend. It's not worth turning it in to my insurance company, as the devices only cost $300 after rebate, and my deductible is $250. So, it looks like I'm off to Best Buy tonight to get a replacement. It's not the end of the world, as I kind of wanted to upgrade to one of the new Series 2 units anyhow, but I didn't really want my old one to be fried by lightning. :(
