SNAFU
coverDue to some SNAFU in communications between my manager and I, I missed my first day (which should have been yesterday) at Software, Etc. I'm convinced he's to blame, as I literally was entering the information into my scheduling program as I was on the phone with him, and fortunately, I think he's convinced that he was the one who erred as well. In any case, all is forgiven, and I'll actually start tomorrow night, which will also be insanely busy, as there are 160 people who've pre-ordered Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and they'll all be coming in to pick it up. Dan, the manager, said it'll be the busiest day of the year for the store. Oh goodie.

Brit's
We went to a wedding in the Twin Cities this weekend, had a good time, and some good food and beverages at Brit's Pub. I missed having Woodpecker Cider on tap, you can't get that here in Cedar Falls.
