AirPort Express

Wow, the AirPort Express was meant for me. I've been looking for a wireless bridge for sometime, as my wireless signal doesn't reach well into my bedroom, where I often use my PowerBook. I was planning on placing the bridge, when I found one, next to my stereo downstairs, where it'd have line-of-site to my base station on the other side of the house. Now, Apple comes along with a device that'll let me have my wireless range extender, and let me stream all my iTunes to my surround-sound equipped stereo system? Cool! Not to mention it has a built-in USB print server, and I can toss it in my laptop bag if I'm on a trip and will need wireless access on the road. Does it get any better than that? Kudos to Apple on a great product, I've already ordered mine. :)

K&K Popcorn

I've discovered a new favorite popcorn, K&K Popcorn, grown in Shellsburg, Iowa. Their "Tiny But Mighty" Popcorn has great flavor, and no hulls to get stuck in your teeth (or colon). It has good corn flavor, and is sweeter than your normal bland popcorn, though the kernels pop much smaller. I made a batch last weekend in my Whirley Pop, with just a little peanut oil, and it was tasty. I think I'll have to make some tonight...

MT 3.0

Well, since Six Apart adjusted their pricing structure, after the initial outcry, and I was given a 50% off code for beta testing the MT 3.0, that brought the price of Movable Type 3 back down to where I found it completely reasonable to license it, so I did. This blog is now running on MT 3.0, and I've enabled TypeKey registration for the comments. This is my first post, hope it works! Update: It appears commenting is broken, I've opened a support ticket with SixApart though, so hopefully should have it working soon. I guess that paid support comes in handy afterall. :)

Updated again: Everything's working now. You'll have to register the first time you post a comment using the TypeKey system. The good news is, this one login will work on all blogs that use TypeKey, so you'll only need to do it once, no matter how many blogs you visit.
