Moblog

Since I got a snazzy new camera phone today, I now have a "Moblog" where you can see snapshots that I grab with my camera. Check it out at http://sethb.textamerica.com/

802.1x?

Anyone out there have any experience with 802.1x authentication for wireless networks? We're starting to look at it as a possibility for our campus network, and I'm trying to get up to speed on how it works, and determine if it's a feasible solution for us.

NetNewsWire

I finally got around to registering my copy of NetNewsWire today, it feels good to send Brent & Sheila some money, as they really produce a great app. I like it so much that I don't even launch my Windows aggregators anymore, I do all my RSS reading on my PowerBook. If you're using the Lite version, do the right thing and register it, it's a great app, let's make sure it stays that way. :)

Passport

My U.S. passport came last night. I look like a felon in the photo. I wouldn't let someone into my country who looked like this picture, hopefully the Russians aren't as picky.

Independence Day

Been swamped at work this week, so not much time to update here. I've been working on a wireless implementation for the fall, to allow our students on our network. We're trying to decide between buying a turn-key style system, or rolling our own using 802.1x and Active Directory. I did have time to catch a couple movies though, I saw both Fahrenheit 9/11 and Spider-Man 2. If you've got a chance, see them both, they're definitely worth the price of admission.
