In Hanlontown

June 16, 2007/ Seth Bokelman

I'm in Hanlontown for Father's Day, after picking up my mother at the airport in Minneapolis last night, then paying a quick visit to my grandfather in Luck, Wisconsin. That's too many miles in 24 hours for me, it's going to feel good to hit the sack tonight, once the air conditioning brings the temperature of this house down.

Race for the Cure

May 03, 2007/ Seth Bokelman

My mom is running in the Race for the Cure in Las Vegas this weekend. Take a few minutes and toss some cash her way to help raise some money to fight breast cancer.

A worthy cause

March 11, 2007/ Seth Bokelman

My friend Missy is running in the Valley of Gold Half Marathon, an upcoming fundraising race for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  Besides those two diseases, they also raise money to fight Multiple Myeloma, the blood cancer my dad was diagnosed with a year ago.  If you have 5 bucks you wouldn't miss, drop a bit in her coffers, as it's going to a good cause.

It has taken many months, but my parents have finally put their house up for sale.  If you're looking for a house near Las Vegas, check it out!

Another Race for Research

October 05, 2006/ Seth Bokelman

My sister Jessica is now participating in the Phoenix version of the Multiple Myeloma Race for Research, so if you didn't have a chance to contribute to me, Holly, or my mom when we walked, send some tax-deductible love her way.

It was nice of the church in Marlow to ring the bells to celebrate J Dylan Shaffer crossing the bridge into town.
After ~65 miles in six days of walking, we have made it to Marlow.
